DiscipleMakers is an Unbounded Church ministry that seeks to provide tools and training that will help Christians be more effective in obeying Jesus’ instruction to ‘Go and Make Disciples’..
This booklet, which is one of those Tools, seeks to provide some conversation starters that we might be able to use in informal situations with individuals or groups. All the examples included have been and are being used by DiscipleMakers in such informal situations.
These short talking points can be given to non-believers, friends, work colleagues, family members etc, who we think might be open to receiving them.
One example I might give as an encouragement, is a non-Christian coffee-shop friend of mine to whom I regularly give one of these. Sometimes it promotes a discussion at the time, but more than that, I have recently discovered that he takes them home and leaves them on the kitchen table and many of his family read them! More recently he has told me that he is regularly discussing them with his non-Christian wife!
So the ripples of the Gospel spread!1
